Evensong Midwifery & Wellness

I have been so blessed to have a rich career in women’s health and midwifery.  I started my journey into midwifery as a nursing student, reading the memoirThe Baby Catcher  and I was hooked!  I knew that this was what I wanted to do.  Soon after graduating from nursing school, I decided to go back to graduate school.  At the time, I didn't feel ready to be a midwife.  This led me to study women’s health, and become a women’s health nurse practitioner at the University of Minnesota.  I practiced in the Twin Cities as a nurse practitioner for 8 years.  After birthing two of my own babies, and feeling the itch to get back to my dream of being a midwife, I returned to school and added midwifery to my degree.  I graduated in 2014 and have been practicing since.

Throughout the years, I have been honored to help welcome over 500 babies into the world as a midwife and countless more as a nurse.  Lately, I have also become very interested in offering bioidentical hormone therapy.  With a functional medicine, whole-body approach, I treat menopause, perimenopause, PMS/PMDD, PCOS, and fertility.

In my personal life, I am married to my husband Luke and we have three children Lina, Penny, and Walter.  We live in Stillwater, MN.  I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and being involved in my local parish.
